Some of my commissions include:
- Having been contacted by the production company responsible for the "Who Do You Think You Are?" UK TV series to assist with some of the research into singer, Cheryl [Cole]'s, family history
- Assisting the writer, journalist and broadcaster, David Torrance, with the family history of Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland, in connection with his book, "Nicola Sturgeon - A Political Life"
- Undertaking research into the family history of Hillary Rodham Clinton in preparation for a feature article which appeared in "The Times" newspaper
- Having been was commissioned to undertake the family history of world-renowned musician, Bryan Ferry, who was born in County Durham. This piece of work was commissioned by the South Bank Centre and featured at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2014 as part of Jeremy Deller's, "All That Is Solid Melts Into Air" Hayward Touring Exhibition
- Other TV work has involved undertaking research at Northumberland Archives for a possible 'Wall to Wall' television series on patients in lunatic asylums in the 1800s (screening dates still to be announced)
